Preschool jitters
Last night, we went to Eena's future preschool for a concert. Eena has been nervous about going to school without Mommy. She However, last night she ran in there and danced with the other kids right away. I can't believe my baby will be attending preschool in the fall, but I know she'll love it.

Yummy dumplings
With Eena being born in China, we try to participate in as many Chinese culture events as possible. On Saturday, we went to a Dumpling Social at Northwestern University. We learned how to make vegetarian dumplings. Eena spooned the tofu/cabbage/mushroom mixture onto the dumpling wrapper, then we put a little water on it, and Eena folded it up. Northwestern students who are a part of China Care showed us how to make the dumplings, and then they cooked it for us. While the dumplings were cooking, Eena colored and we attempted to make origami.
Eena loved the dumplings, and we will definitely make them at home.
